Watts Park is opposite Latimer House and a great place to relax or exercise on your lunch break as well as providing an enviable outlook from the offices.

Hoglands Park is one of Southampton’s Central Parks. It is a relaxed open parkland with cricket squares, and informal areas for a kick-about.

Southampton Common is the largest open space in the City boundaries. This is a popular location for charitable runs and walks, home of the Easter and August Fairs and perfect for those longer walks or runs.

The buildings central location is within a short walk of numerous cafés and restaurants that Southampton City Centre has to offer. There are some great places to eat and drink within an easy walk of Latimer House.

The Cultural Quarter is central to Southampton’s social and economic regeneration programme. It provides a vibrant, dynamic and cultural heart to the city with a number of great places to eat. It is an area alive with arts, heritage, entertainment, events and music, framed within dramatic architecture, including The Mayflower Theatre, SeaCity Museum, City Art Gallery and The Guildhall Square itself.

Fancy a spot of shopping on your lunch break? Head down to Civic Centre Road in the city centre and you’ll find everything you need under one roof. The Marlands Shopping Centre houses a variety of large retail brands as well as being home to The Market Gallery. Above Bar St also located just off Civic Centre Road and West Quay Shopping Centre located at the heart of Southampton City Centre offer great retail therapy.
